These lesson materials are here for my students.
The rest of the world is welcome to use them,
but if you need some explanation come take a lesson! There are different levels. 1 and 2 are for beginners. 1 is about notes and 2 is about chords. You can do either one first. Level 3 is intermediate stuff. It introduces some scales and prepares you for barre chords. Level 4 brings in barre chords and more difficult songs. You get out what you put in. When I started guitar, I was twelve. It became the most important thing to me. I played constantly, I learned songs from records and books and other players. I would fall asleep playing my guitar. To really learn, you have to really want to learn. You gotta break problems down into smaller ones, play slow and clean before you play fast. Regular timed practice is more effective than random pointless bashing. Finally, go find other players and play together. Nothing can beat the sounds in your imagination or the music in your heart. |
