Here is a great diversity of ukulele songs. I just put 'em here 'cause I can. I don't expect anybody to marvel at my great technique or anything. I just really like the fact that you can play anything on a uke. The chords are so clean and simple that you can imply a lot of the stuff that happens in full band arrangements. Three songs include my friend Sylvan Duplant on bass and one has Debbie Diedrich on vocals.
If you have any trouble getting them to work, please let me know.
- Anarchy In The UK: play it
Yes, the Sex Pistols on ukulele. There's a guy up in Portland (the duke of uke) who does this song all smooth and nice which makes it even funnier.

- Drinkin Booze: play it
This is one of my \'five minute songs\'... I give myself five minutes to write a song, usually on ukulele \'cause it\'s easier. It is terminally inane.
- E Huli Makou: play it
Here is a Hawaiian song for the uke. Chico Schwall on guitar and over a dozen 8 year olds.
- Enter Sandman: play it

Here is a sad story narrated by the peerless Debbie Diedrich with sound, music, and a lotta ducks.
- Liberty Bell: play it
The theme music for Monty Python's Flying Circus is in fact a march by John Phillips Souza and here it is.

- Numa Numa Song: play it
My kids turned me onto this song. I like the snappy euro-disco beat. I also like the sound of Romanian. There is a chord chart with phonetic pronunciation on the songs page.
- Paranoid: play it
Ah yes, Black Sabbath. Their dark scariness perfectly set off by the magic of...ukulele?!?!

The upcoming Swingin' Marmalukeys CD will have a version of this song with a cretinous vocal and worse things...
- The Weight: play it
This is Quinn Souther from Kids With Ukes performing The Weight (a classic by the band). He appears to have overdubbed a second track. Kool!
- Ukulele Lady (new version with original verse): play it
We often play just the chorus of old time songs as if it were the whole song. Some times these forgotten verses are real gems. Thanks to Robert Hultman and Megan the library lady for sending me the complete stuff. The tab is from the serious ukulele ensemble in New Zealand (see my links page)
