Mary Ferris

Mary Ferris is a seventh grader at Roosevelt Middle School. She has been playing the uke and singing for 4 years. Mary Ferris has performed at various places this past year including, the Saturday Market, the Lane Country Fair, and at Sam Bonds Garage. Mary Ferris has recorded two CD’s: Springboard and Roundabout.
Sweet Aloha

Sweet Aloha plays traditional and contemporary Hawaiian-inspired music on guitars, ukuleles, standup bass, lap-steel, and Hawaiian percussion instruments. They include hula performance with their music. Sweet Aloha's goal is to make true Hawaiian-style music offered with respect for Hawaiian culture and animated with aloha spirit.
Brook Adams and his Swingin' Marmalukeys

The Marmalukeys are a string band who play cowboy gypsy party music. They play pop tunes from the '20s to the '90s with a heapin' helpin' of ukulele. Their tight rhythms and strong vocal harmonies are a swing dancers delight.
Bad Mitten

Gypsy Grrrl Pop music...with Ukuleles and great vocals. Frequenting the seedy bars of the Northwest, practicing in alleyways and smoking too many cigarettes, they bring the cheeseball music back into everyone's heart while gratefully accepting free alcoholic beverages and couches on which to sleep.
Craig Chee and Sum Guyz
Craig is from Oahu. In addition to his soulful singing he plays Cello and Piano. He started on ukulele in high school when he was influenced by groups such as Ka'au Crater Boys, Pure Heart and Kapena. He has a regular gig with his band Sum Guyz at Noho's in Eugene.

Mitch is a one man vaudeville show. He is in the International Whistlers Convention Hall Of Fame and he just happens to play ukulele and do Spike Jones kinda stuff.

On a tour of Hawaii in 2005, Craig was influenced by Hawaiian music. This classical guitarist often finishes shows with a few uke songs but this time it will all be uke. His shows are unpredictable and entertaining with variety and great musicianship. He keeps a light vibe with stories about his music and performing experiences.

Jay's Ukulele Martini Hour is more than music, it's a way of life. His shows are performance pieces, not just songs. Jay lives in Eugene,where he entertains the locals with his special blend of dark roasted pop music.

Bob plays ukulele just like it's s'posed to be done. The sharp banjo strums, the fancy chords from Tin Pan Alley and a joie d' vivre that makes you smile.

Carol has a degree in dance from the U of O and she has studied in Hawaii and New Zealand. She is accomplished in Hawaiian, Tahitian and Maori dance traditions.

Polished arrangements showcase delicious harmonies and tasty leads on mandolin, mandola, fiddle, accordion, guitar and piano. Their rock/folk/blues sound blends Midwest clarity with East coast grit and Northwest sensibilities.
