Learn traditional island songs and try some Slack-Key Ukulele with the unsinkable Maggie Matoba.
Freestyle Uke: Allen McWayne
Allen will teach various right hand techniques for the intermediate and advanced player, including fingerstyle picking patterns, strumming methods and syncopated rhythms. These will be combined with melody chords to create improvised arrangements of blues, ragtime, jazz, pop, reggae, bossa nova, classic, flamenco and Hawaiian songs, from provided music charts.
New Song Strum-Along: Marianne Brogan
Just want to learn a bunch of new songs? Here are 7 or 8 new songs you're gonna like, with lyric sheets and chords. Songs are chosen from the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's. Something for most everyone except maybe the punker. Songs will have 4-8 chords.
Modern Hawaiian Music: Craig Chee
Craig has been singing and playing music since elementary school. He started ukulele in his high school when he was influenced by groups like Ka'au Crater Boys, Pure Heart and Kapena. His workshop will demonstrate typical strums used in many contemporary hawaiian music and tips on how to create different sounds from your uke.

A workshop on chord forms. Learn a couple of new tunes, liven up your playing and challenge yourself. Learn a method of pattern recognition to easily remember new ways to play the major, minor and 7th chords. This workshop is for the intermediate player or advanced beginner ready to take on new challenges.
Hawaiian Music Story: Buck Mueller
This is a FREE workshop about the fascinating history of the ukulele and island music. Buck will tell you all about it and demonstrate his tasteful mastery of the 'Jumping Flea'.
Beatles For The Masses: Brook Adams
Play and sing the fab four on your fab four string. Covers all skill levels. These are songs everyone knows with tricks for adding more 'beatleness' to your sound.
